![]() ![]() Update: You guys were right corporate didn’t really do anything. The only thing I have yet to try is another Walmart store- these last 2 incidents happened at the same store. This is incredibly frustrating and I know others beside myself have Chase and may find themselves in a similar situation. I came home and decided to call corporate. I had it on me the first time this happened but unfortunately didn’t last night. Normally I have another form of payment with me. I had been to other stores yesterday and my card/chip worked fine. It’s not a money issue, it’s a card/chip reader issue. Another employee overheard us and approached- he offered to pay but I politely refused. I walked away and was almost out of the store when the person overseeing the self checkouts caught up to me. Last night I went there to get a couple things and while at self checkout after about 10 tries- 70% inserting, 30% swiping- I gave up. The minute I put it in it basically declines or says “error”. The last couple times I have stopped in Walmart I had issues with my Chase card with a chip. Hoping this will get approved so I can get updated answers… ![]() After doing some research I realized there was another post like this posted a few years ago. ![]()
